Denise (Aunt Nee Nee) comes every Wednesday. She calls it Twinsday. This is what she and Kade do when she comes over. Kade doesn't sleep on anyone like he does his Nee Nee.
At their check up Elizabeth weighed 14 # 4 oz (45%), and was 23 3/4" (10%) long.
Kade weighed 14# 12. 5 oz (25%), and was 26" (55 %) long.
I found that Elizabeth had escaped out of her tucker sling during her nap...
She discovered Kade... it's the first time either has ever acknowledged the other...

She wouldn't be still. The roses were supposed to cover her bottom, but she wouldn't be still, she is not the modest little lady that her daddy hoped for...

Elizabeth has 2 teeth now. Kade rolled from front to back without any help. He was so irritable yesterday afternoon. We don't know what was going on with him. It was awful, but he slept well, maybe it was just teething or overtired. I hope today is better.

Elizabeth has a tooth

We found Elizabeth's first tooth yesterday, bottom front right. she is miserably trying to cut the bottom front left. Thank God for Tylenol and Motrin!!! Kade is drooling like crazy, but no knots yet.

E's first spoon feeding

Elizabeth stares at our plates when we eat, especially anything colorful. We felt so bad that we tried to feed her some rice cereal with formula.
She wasn't sure what to think, and she still has that tongue thrust thing going on. Notice how stained her bib is, this is from the constant reflux. We now have stay at home bibs and going out bibs.
She loved the faces and sounds her Aunt Nee Nee made while trying to feed her!
She was still more interested in our food than baby food...


Elizabeth is now rolling from front to back and back to front. We think Kade may have rolled from front to back, but we aren't convinced that Quinn didn't help him. Elizabeth also held her own bottle yesterday. Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted the picture. They are both teething. Elizabeth required Motrin and Tylenol yesterday. I'm so crazy that I'm using our infant pain scale from work (FLACC), to determine if she is in mild, moderate, or severe pain and requires medication. She was in moderate, so we gave her Motrin and then about 6 hours later Tylenol. Kade and Elizabeth both get doses of Motrin before bed. Otherwise they wake up miserable 3-4 times at night.

Don't start to think that we are neglecting Kade. He doesn't stare at our food yet. He just stares at my chest...

Elizabeth rolled from front to back on Sunday (Aug. 5th) Kade was the only witness, she can't remember how she did it and Kade isn't talking...

Elizabeth still vomits all the time. She's on her 3rd outfit and 5th bib today. We're back on the Zantac, she is less fussy on it. Kade and Elizabeth are both teething. Elizabeth has a large not on her bottom left gum, Kade has a tiny lump. They both are drool masters!!!

Cole started soccor practice this evening and I went back to choir practice last week and sang this past Sunday. It's amazing how even one extra thing puts extra stress on the schedule, everything is more difficult with new babies. I caught an episode of John and Kate plus eight ( this is a show on TLC, they have 6 y/o twins and 6, 2 y/o). She is so organized it makes me look a total mess who can't get it together. I'm not watching the show anymore, it isn't good for my self esteem.
